Wedding cakes!

Yes Shannon put me up to the task! She asked me to make her wedding cakes. Yes cakes, 3 of them! And 24 cupcakes. I am glad that they came out how she wanted them!

Betsey Johnson inspired cake

Joyce I love the design you had for the cake you wanted me to make. Glad I was able to pull it off.

This cake was inspired by Betsey Johnson earrings. Gold Hearts and rhinestones along the border. It was a devils chocolate cake w/chocolate chips and filled with a strawberry filling.

Inspired by Alice in Wonderland

My favorite character in the movie Alice in Wonderland was the Queen of Hearts! So I figured a quick and easy was to pay her tribute was to make a QoH card.

A way for me to tie in Alice was to make the frosting on the cupcakes blue, And also to make a bottle saying: "Drink Me" on them! Needed to do something quick and easy since I had to prepare for my 10 year old birthday party. :)

Baby blocks cake

All I have to say about this cake is WOW! 5&1/2 hours to make. I am thankful that Lisa put me up to the challenge to replicate a cake she saw online. It was a white cake with a home made strawberry cream cheese. Yummy!

My Sisters Baby shower cake

My sister's baby shower was this past weekend and she asked me to make her cake, well duh! Of course would never turn family down! Kept it simple. The cake was mixed white and lemon with a lemon custard filling.

Pictures will start looking better just got a new camera!!! Finally :)

Limo cupcackes

When my friend Rebecca told me her son wanted Limo cupcakes I started to freak out being that a limo is very detailed. She said that her son told his friends that I can make anything! So I COULD NOT let him down. I had to find something that wasn't to complicated to make and that fit his theme.Thank goodness for clipart right?

These were a devil's chocolate cupcake filled with chocolate pudding and topped with chocolate butter cream frosting.

Personalized Valentine's Day Treats

 This was a new strawberry recipe I found online with fresh chopped up strawberry pieces! I made enough for me to sneek in a taste before I packaged up the cupcakes of course!

The Fresh Fiends and Mia's Pieces POSSE UP!

I admit I was thrilled when Mia's Pieces was asked to collaborate with The Fresh Fiends. They were holding a chairty event called Sweet Escape! What is that you might ask? Well it was a bake sale and all of the proceeds that were donated went to help the victims of Haiti. Only thing is I wish I would have been able to actually make the event! The Fresh Fiends held it down though!

So the friends from Idaho came into town to celebrate Kevin's birthday and in advance Jo asked me to make some personalized cupcakes for his party with the family. The cupcakes were a red velvet, with cream cheese frosting, and topped with black melted chocolate letters and microphones.

She also had me make some vanilla cupcakes with vanilla butter cream and topped with some pink chocolate hearts.
