Sweet 16

I am glad to have been able to make Hailey her Sweet 16 cake. She requested the number 16 and for it to be decorated pink and black to keep with her color theme! Take a look and tell me what you think.
Before I finished frosting the cake:

and....After it was decorated:
Jason and Courtney thank you for ordering this cake from me!
Courtney text me the day after the party and advised me that Hailey was nearly in tears when she saw her cake! Bitter sweet!!!I am so happy that I was able to accomplish this for her :)

Rainbow cake

Marie when you came to me with this order I wanted to take it to a different level. Not only did I want there to be a rainbow on the outside for decoration as well as muti-colored gumballs as a border, but I also wanted to dress it up on the inside as well.
Christian I hope you enjoyed your birthday cake!!!

Thomas the Train

So this was my version of Thomas the Train. This was a vanilla cake filled with vanilla pudding and freshly sliced banana, covered in vanilla fondant. I will be posting more pictures once the pictures from Edwards party come in!!
Happy 3rd Birthday :)
The picture above is the picture I used to create my cake.

The cupcakes were also vanilla flavor, filled with vanilla pudding and topped with a banana butter cream!
Thank you for ordering from me Brandi :)

NY Yankee cupcakes/ Red Velvet cupcakes

Sunday I woke up thinking I needed to pay tribute to the NY Yankees. I had some time before the game started to whip up some fantastic red velvet cupcakes filled with vanilla pudding, and topped with cream cheese frosting. I always speed through things due to the fact that I have a 10 month old baby who is attached to my hip the majority of the time. Here is the picture of the cupcakes:

This is what the rest of them looked like:

I also went to my 2nd class and we are only allotted 30 minutes to decorate our cakes and this is what I did. Originally the cake was supposed to be plain white, but a girl bumped into me and pink pixie dust spilled onto my cake. I should have taken more pictures of the side of my cake. There were hearts around the cake too! There were some decorations towards the bottom of the cake but didnt like the way they looked so I took them off.

Tiffany blue confetti cupcakes

I had a sweet tooth last night and made some time to whip up some mini confetti cupcakes with a vanilla pudding filling and topped with a tiffany blue vanilla butter cream. A friend from out of town is here visiting and he thought they were delicious! Here is a picture of them already cooled with the vanilla pudding already piped in the center. Can you see the pudding?

I zoomed in a just a bit more so that you could see the confetti colored sprinkles and the pudding.

The next picture is of 2 of these lil cupcakes piped and ready to eat! Don't judge the piping I haven't started classes yet. I like to experiment alot.

And last but not least is the cupcake spilt in half so that you can see what it looks like when you take a bite!!
